PLAN YOUR TRIP

Plan Your Trip

Everything you need to plan your Barcelona stay, from airport transfers and complimentary wedding coaches to nearby hotel recommendations.
Getting to Barcelona

Barcelona–El Prat Airport is approximately 25–35 minutes from central Barcelona, depending on traffic.

Taxi, Uber, Cabify or BoltEasiest with luggage. Taxis wait outside both terminals, and Uber, Cabify and Bolt all operate reliably in Barcelona. Around 25–35 minutes to the centre.
AerobúsA frequent shuttle to Plaça de Catalunya, close to the recommended accommodation.
Metro or TrainA convenient option for guests comfortable with public transport.
Complimentary Wedding Coaches

Coaches will run for both the wedding on Friday and the Wedding After Party on Saturday, departing from and returning to Hotel Catalonia Passeig de Gràcia (Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 644). The wedding coach departs at 16:30 on Friday; please arrive 10 minutes early.

Staying nearby is the most convenient option, though guests are welcome to stay anywhere in Barcelona.

ACCOMMODATION

Where to Stay

We recommend arriving on Thursday so you have time to settle in before the celebrations begin.

For the easiest weekend, stay near Hotel Catalonia Passeig de Gràcia, where our wedding coaches will depart and return. These hotels are simply suggestions, and guests are very welcome to stay elsewhere in Barcelona.

Primavera Festival Weekend — our wedding falls during one of Barcelona's busiest weekends, so we recommend booking accommodation as early as possible.

Set amongst the Catalan hills just outside Barcelona, La Baronia is a beautiful historic estate with panoramic views and timeless Spanish charm. We fell in love with it the moment we saw it and can't wait to celebrate here with you.

Ladies

Midi or floor-length dresses in summer colours and soft prints. Hats and fascinators are welcomed, but entirely optional. Complete with block heels, wedges or flats.
Please avoid: white, ivory, or bridal-inspired shades.

Gentlemen

A suit with a tie, lightweight fabrics such as linen, cotton or tropical wool suggested. Complete the look with a pair of dress shoes or loafers. Please avoid jeans, shorts, chinos, open-collar shirts and trainers.

The Catalan Estate

A private retreat in the Catalan countryside, made for long lunches, poolside drinks and one more day together.
Fun fact: This estate was the filming location for the latest Valentino ad and has hosted stars such as Gerald Butler & Pamela Anderson. For one afternoon only, we’re adding our wedding guests to the VIP list.
